Convention Survival Kits - A Mission of Love.

Compassion moved Faithcon Convention to serve the nerd community.

Our mission to share love in convention spaces began in 2025.

We never expected that a tragedy would shift our focus from media revival to something much more… Christ-like.

On the final day of our very first panel at Blerdcon, we learned that a young woman had been assaulted at an event unrelated to the convention. Horrifying as that was, we then discovered she chose not to seek help—she just wanted to go home. Home, where no one would know what happened. Home, where her family would sense something was wrong but never know why. She would suffer alone in her pain.

As a mother-daughter team behind Faithcon Convention, you can imagine our distress.

We returned home with a new mission burning in our hearts: Convention Survival Kits. A giving ministry that meets small needs but reflects the love of our King in a BIG way.

Water, hydration packets, snacks, mini sewing kits, lip balm, hand sanitizer, lotion, and more came to mind as we sought to do what we had never seen done in the nerd space. We also included a survival guide with emergency numbers—both local and national—so that anyone hurt far from home could call for help, even if they were too afraid to tell their loved ones.

We made a plan—and we executed it.

We purchased materials and created 50 kits for Blerdcon 2026. That may not sound like much, but the deep appreciation we received from panel attendees and passersby alike made it feel as though we were handing out thousands of dollars.

So yes, we are a virtual convention with local events—a MOVEMENT sparking media revival with a Christ-centered message. But we are also this: missionaries on a mission to show God’s love to the nerd community, one survival kit at a time.

Faithcon Convention 2026 is uniting Christ-centered creatives for a Global Media Revival!

Faithcon Convention 2026 (FCC2026) is a worldwide gathering of creatives online in an engaging virtual panel format to gather, equip, unite, and empower Christian creatives working with genres from comics to cinema! A mission of excellence centered around, FCC2026 is all about Keeping  Christ in the center and engaging those that need Him most. 

The virtual convention is only one day this year: 9/19... its emphasis? The 99:1!
